Gracias Madre
Born out of love for Mother Earth and reverence for all mothers, hence the name “Thank you Mother”, Gracias Madre offers delicious organic, plant based Mexican dishes along with a friendly and dedicated staff that make you feel welcomed and nurtured from the moment you pull out a seat. The vibrant menu includes Mexico’s most famous and loved dishes and diffuser-free agave spirits. If you’re only passing by be sure to stop in quickly for a canned cocktail to go!

Founded by two food writers turned chefs, Heather Sperling and Emily Fiffer, this restaurant is big into color and flavor. Botanica’s kitchen is stocked with all-local vegetables, fruits and dairy; a rainbow of grains and legumes, healthy fats, wild Pacific seafood and sustainably raised meat. No matter your dietary preference, you will find here a meal that will nourish your body and senses, making you feel good and clean. You can rest assured that no refined sugars, processed foods or products of industrial agriculture have made their way to your plate. Specializing in slow fashion fit for an LA cool girl. Originally a fashion blog, Galeri.LA has become an online shop and brick-and-mortar for emerging designers that are made in America. Not a detail in this shop goes unnoticed, including a system that allows you to shop according to your values searching for items by the sustainable initiatives that mean most to you.
Christy Dawn
A brand passionate about slow fashion, the clothes made at Christy Dawn are designed by Christy herself and sewn by local seamstresses using deadstock fabrics. With vintage-inspired designs, christy’s designs will leave you dreaming of prairies and wildflowers. Her shop is located in Venice in Southern California.

This sustainable menswear brand features organic cotton t-shirts, sweatshirts and recycled PET swimwear in colorful and fun prints and PVC and Phthalate free inks. Their products, which come at lower prices than other popular sustainable menswear brands, are made in ethical factories. Even their swing tags are FSC certified.

Stocked with all the sustainable basics you could need, this cute shop (surprisingly larger than it looks) offers styles for men, women and children. Their factories adhere to Fair Labor Association guidelines and workplace code of conduct and their clothing line uses sustainable materials and processes, including organic & recycled materials, low impact dyes and water conserving washes. Their tees and hoodies are especially known for their softness and comfort.
