Since 1871, Washington Park has been a part of Portland, and is one of Oregon’s most popular tourist destinations. The Hoyt Arboretum, Portland Japanese Garden, World Forestry Center, Oregon Zoo, and International Rose Test Garden are among the 410 acres of the park’s attractions. Also there are memorials, an archery range, playgrounds, tennis courts, and miles of trails.
