Yes...but also no. Some of the products sold, such as shampoos, lotions, and other body products, are created in a Leaping Bunny-certified facility. Other items come from a company that doesn't test on animals but may contain ingredients such as beeswax or goat's milk. We carry brands that aren't exclusively Mama & Hapa's store labeled, such as Kirkland Signature and Safeway Select. They are able to cut out the middleman and sell a lower-cost product with the same quality as a branded product. Major brands also do not sell their products in 55 gallon drum sizes, making it difficult to find a branded zero waste solution. Some of the non-liquid goods are also unbranded. They can sell them without any packaging since they get them directly from the manufacturer, just like their brushes, bottles, and bar soaps.
